Lewis-Riggs Custom Guitars, Inc. was incorporated in June of 2006 as a designer and builder of electric guitars. Our new product line will initially be comprised of five models, with several series under each model. Our first model, the GDN1 Deluxe GIDEON, is available now in several colors. We began as a small one-man shop, searching out electric guitars, like the ever popular Fender Stratocaster, that were being sold "parted out", or in poor, abused condition, and buying those. Then they would be carefully rebuilt to their original vintage condition, or if too far gone for that, upgraded and custom rebuilt and "hot-rodded", then sold at auction to the highest bidder.
After long, careful thought, encouragement from buyers, friends, family and a new business partner, the decision was made to begin designing original electric guitar models and incorporate the business. We are a Delaware "C" Corporation, with our shop in Orlando, Florida, and now have representation for professional players and music stores, plus distribution in Allegany, New York. Our four new designs are now in prototype build-out stage, and will soon be debuted here and in music stores, along with the GDN1 GIDEON model.
Our guitar models are new and original, and are being priced in ranges that will be affordable to the younger players, intermediate, and all the way to the professional and collectors, in the high end. Standard models will start from $550-$700, and go up from there to the high end custom shop models priced from $1200 to $4995.
